Craps Is A Game of Strange Beliefs

[ English | Deutsch | Español | Français | Italiano ]

Are you a superstitious person? You know, the kind of person who will not open an umbrella inside a house, will not step beneath an open ladder and has to turn around 3 times after walking over a grove in the cement?

Here is a number of the more common craps folklores compiled by a few of the greatest craps competitors. Incidentally, they uphold a lot of this crazyness too!

1. If the stickman is substituted, during a throw, a 7 will follow.

2. If a drink hostess approaches the table, a seven will be next.

three. If the die being thrown hits somebody’s chips, a seven is possible.

four. If the pair of dice being tossed hits the glass, a seven will appear.

5. If there’s a lot of talking between the dealers, frequent 7s.

6. If the pair of dice are thrown off the table, 7 will be the next number.

seven. If a new pair of dice are requested, seven is certain to follow.

8. If a player bellows out the number "seven", a seven will surely be next.

All of this may sound like a bunch of nothing to you but occasionally you can be engaged in an active game where the ivories are passing a little too frequently. If you focus, you’ll notice that several of the beliefs are, in actuality, occurring.

You’ll notice that the stickman is substituted a bit too regularly, that rather than of 1 cocktail waitress, the table now has two waitresses bringing drinks and a number of other weird things that ultimately mean a 7 is going to be tossed by the shooter.

Remember, you can always bring your bets off the table and delay until the following hurler. You are able to also turn your wagers off, however, if you do, don’t turn them back on, especially given that if you do… a 7 will be next!
